Get your radio fixed?I have this asked several times a day. My radio isn't working right.
The result of my mini investigation is... not the radio.
See the most wear and tear does not come from the radio itself.
Your antenna system including the coax is mostly the blame.
Tree limbs freezing temps, smashed coax through the window.
Bad connectors , Connectors bent to sharply to squeeze a radio in a hole.
Dead shorts,missing antenna mount insulators. Mic connectors
You get the idea.
We will put the radio on the bench and test it first.
Then head out for an examination of the installation.
So if your having issues get out. Try looking at the whole system in general.
It might not be the radio after all.
