I bought a Uniden 520XL Pro from Kollman Radio a year or so ago, it works great. I decided to go for a custom look(also because its the only way I could fit it in my car, 1999 honda civic, and have everything look nice) so I built a mount for it out of fiberglass and then wrapped it in black factory textured vinyl.

New pictures can come later.  The open box at the bottom is where the sound comes out. It isnt shown in this but I built a "tunnel" that ports the sound from the bottom of the radio to the box port under the radio. also i need to make a cover for that hole for a more finished look.

As you already know trying to find room for CB radios is not easy.

This install is very clean nice lookingl. Make you ride look better, with all the hard word.

We look forward to seeing the dash when you get more pics.

thanks.  it might be a week or so before i get pictures up of it installed.  Right now the radio is all apart; i am modding the inside so when the PA switch is on, the radio will automatically have full squelch(so no radio transmission will play through the PA speaker).  

First "project" making my own circuit with transistors but, it is coming along well.
